Your cells die 2-5 billion per second and are bound together by a protein.  These layers build up, eventually leading to cracks and crevices (AKA: lines and wrinkles). The only way to bring fresh, new cells to the surface is to exfoliate with acids (microdermabrasion helps, but does not have the properties of acids.)

All Bella Vista's peel products are “free” acids without the harsh buffering agents.

Fruit Acids are Alpha Hydroxy Acids.  They are nontoxic naturally occurring substances found in a variety of fruits, such as grapes, apples and sugar cane.  Examples of Fruit Acids are Glycolic, Citric, Malic, Lactic and Pyruvic Acids.

Glycolic Acid is a thorough exfoliator.  Glycolic Acid removes the outer layers of thickened or damaged skin leaving a smoother and healthier appearance.

Glycolic Acid is capable of penetrating into the deeper layers of the skin and increasing the rate of dead cell shedding, new skin cell production and collagen formation.

With prolonged use, Glycolic Acid has been found to be beneficial in improving dry skin, in treating age spots, improving oily and acne-prone skin and decreasing fine lines and wrinkles.  The Kojic Acid in the Face Peel provides an additional skin lightener.  We offer three strengths of Fruit Acid for varying exfoliation intensity, Fruit Acid Gel 7.5%, Bella Face, Hand & Foot Saver Cream 10-12% (a higher percentage of acids but less intense than the gel) and Bella 15% Intensive AHA Treatment cream.

• Apply a small amount on gauze pad and gently buff face, neck, décolleté, hands (any skin you want refreshed and younger looking). Avoid eye area.
• Start out 1-3 nights per week;  leave on 1-3 minutes;  rinse thoroughly with cool water.  As your skin adapts to acid, the acids may be left on for longer periods of time.
• If you have extremely sensitive skin, start out 1 night for 1-3 minutes and build up until tolerated.
• As your skin balances out, it will be possible to leave on all night  1-3 nights per week.
